My name happens to be what some might consider to be more of the...feminine variety, however let me state that I am, in fact, a man. Maybe not a fully fledged and ready to take the world head on sort of man, but a man of sorts nonetheless.
Now, the reason I sit here typing today is to create a blog which will function as a method to post about things which perhaps no one will ever read while simultaneously fulfilling a homework assignment for my Advanced Pre-Production class. So you see, sometimes a bird can only be killed with two stones. Regardless, I believe it good practice to take some step towards furthering my ability to network.
Let me indulge you with a little information about myself other than my gender. I am currently a Junior at Chico State working towards my major in Applied Computer Graphics--Technical, with minors in Video Game Design, Computer Science, and Japanese. At first I was worried about being one of those kids that's like "My k/d is 4.2 so naturally I'm gonna kick ass at making video games," but as I continue to explore my field of interest I realize that this is my passion and I actually can be successful in this industry, as long as I continue to push for it, work at it, and get to know people in the process.
Anyway, there's a lot more to be said, who knows if I'll even end up posting here again, but hey, it's a start.
